Hannah Sawitsky, CMHC, is a licensed therapist, certified doula, and maternal mental health specialist based in Logan, Utah. She is the founder of Nova Therapy and Doula Services, where she supports individuals and families through pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, anxiety, and the transition into parenthood.
Hannah brings clinical training and personal experience with postpartum anxiety to her work. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based support, earlier conversations, and a broader care team so parents are not left to interpret difficult symptoms alone. She also helps families understand that postpartum mental health can extend well beyond the first weeks after birth.
On Healing at Your Core, Hannah and Bree map the mental-health realities of the fourth trimester. They distinguish baby blues from postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, discuss birth trauma and intrusive thoughts, and explain why pelvic floor, obstetric, doula, and mental-health care are stronger when they connect.
